Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom’s National Cyber Security Centre has granted data erasing product approval for Picea®Volume Eraser. In the technical evaluation, the Volume Eraser was found to comply with the data erasing of security class IV information from Android and Apple iOS-based mobile devices.
The PiceaVolume, which has received the product approval, can be used to erase personal content securely and permanently from multiple mobile devices simultaneously.

PiceaVolume’s erasing technology is an easy-to-use point of sale application to erase mobile devices in-store or repair points to fully meet EU GDPR and can be used for example in mobile device trade-in, customer returns, and loan devices.
Piceasoft’s erasing technology has also successfully passed the ADISA Product Claims Test process for mobile erasure ensuring that the solution erases data beyond forensic recovery equivalent to ADISA test level 1. ADISA is an accreditation body specializing in risk management and data protection within asset retirement.
