The AI-Powered Screen Grading solution opens new possibilities to analyze the device condition. The screen is one of the most expensive parts in any mobile device and the component most prone to damage. Screen damage can come with a variety of issues and sometimes the level of damage is difficult to visually evaluate. It can also be challenging for a sales or service agent to explain to a customer how screen damage impacts the device’s condition. Consumers also need to often pay for screen repair themselves as accidental damage is typically not covered by warranty.
To address the issue Piceasoft brings AI-Powered Screen Grading into its Picea® Services Diagnostics solution to automatically deliver highly accurate screen condition grading for mobile devices. The new diagnostics module provides the sales or service agent with a clear and consistent way to justify the mobile device’s condition to the consumer. In cases when a mobile device has already been diagnosed remotely for example at home, the solution complements the omnichannel customer journey.
The AI-Powered Screen Grading uses a photo of the mobile device screen and Piceasoft’s data and artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze, grade, and classify the screen condition. The photo of the device screen is saved to the cloud-based PiceaReporting with grading results and a test report can be given to the consumer as evidence of the device condition.
